SHOW JUMPING - FIVE IRISH NOW IN WORLD TOP 50
THE latest Rolex World Jumping Rankings released this week show that Ireland now has five riders within the top 50.
Photos
Highest-placed is Antrim-born Jessica Kurten at 16th, with Tipperary's Denis Lynch close behind in 18th place.
Cian O'Connor is ranked as 34th in the world, while Billy Twomey is at 38th. Mayo's Cameron Hanley is in 50th place.
The rankings, which cover the period up to the end of November 2009, are compiled and issued by the world governing body, the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
