SIEC Team Jumped in France, Auvers CSI2*
Sevil Sabanci and Richard Grom were in France for Auvers International Show between 19th-21st of August. With SIEC Casall and SIEC Cotarus Sevil Sabanci competed in Seniors Gold Tour whereas she rode the bay stallion SIEC Brigadör in Ladies Tour. Richard Grom took SIEC Zappa and SIEC Zelinosa to France to jump in 6 year-old Young Horses classes.

Richard Grom were able to made 2 top five places on Zappa and Zelinosa in the young horses tour. The first day he finished the 1.25m class clear with both and places 5th ,from a field of 51 starters, on the second day at 1.25m class producing another clear round in time. The winner was from the hosting country M. Benjamin Devulder riding Quebeq Tame.
The last day Richard Grom this time on Zappa secured his place at the top 5 when he produce 2 clear round in the 1.30m Grand Prix. Whit his time 43.10sec in the jump –off section he was in the 5th place and the winner was again France M. Cedric Bellanger and Quatuor De B’Nevillewith 36.46sec. 55 Horses competed in the Grand Prix

SIEC Team riders Burak Azak (SIEC Lanjaron) and Oktay Sezek (SIEC Castlekelly Finn, SIEC Samantha) traveled to Sofia for the 4th edition of St George CSI1* International Show Jumping competitions. On the final day Burak Azak took the 3rd place in the Grand Prix of Sofia on SIEC Lanjaron who is going to be his partner next week in Plovdiv also for the Balkan Championship. more...
Sevil Sabanci on SIEC Corat had a fabulous performance at 2010 Ataturk Cup 1.45 on 8th of August at Maslak facilities where she placed 7th as being the only senior lady competitor of Senior class. At the same time she completed the 3rd leg of the Turkish Championship for seniors in the 7th place and with 53 points in total she took the 6th place in the rankings. SIEC Team riders Sevil Sabancı, Burak Azak and Oktay Sezek had a good start at the show that organized by the Turkish Equestrian Federation at IASK facilities between 6th and 9th of August. The weekend is named by one of the biggest cup of the season, Ataturk Cup and invites the children, junior, young rider and senior category riders for the challenge of Turkish Championship. more...

The memorial cup for Nuri Oglakci, The Founder of Istanbul Equestrian Club, is on this weekend with the 25th edition. Nuri Oglakci Cup will start at 21.00 on Sunday. In 2009, Sencer Can and his winner horse Cleveland won the cup. Around 100 riders are expected to participate this year in the show. more...
After competing two weeks in Vimeiro CSI3 (POR) the next destination for Cagri Basel is Dinard CSI3* (FRA) between 29th July – 1 August. For two weeks Cagri had plenty of successful results in Vimeiro CSI3* (POR) for Turkey, and added them another one on Saturday’s 1.40m Class when he finished 4th on the bay gelding SIEC Gold Rush. The final day at Chantilly CSI2* had GRAND PRIX VOLKSWAGEN (1.45m) where 54 riders contested for a good share from 20.000 euro prize money . Cagri Basel travels to Vimeiro (Portugal) this week with SIEC Caro Ass, SIEC Gold Rush and SIEC Quiet Ruffy for CSI3* between 15-18 July 2010 (first week) and 22 – 25 July 2010 (Second week). The show offers different tours for the competitors including Small, Medium and Big Tour and Young Horse Classes. SIEC Team riders Gerry Flynn and Cagri Basel jumped last weekend in Lisbon CSIO4*. 90th edition of Lisbon show was also a qualifier for the WEG in Kentucky. Gerry Flynn brought out once again Sevil Sabanci’s bay gelding SIEC Castelo Branco to do the business when he produced double clear and placed 4th in Saturday’s Big Tour 1.50m, competition within groups, in which 46 combinations jumped for 20.000 euro prize money. For three days; 45 kids in 3 groups from Tarabya Hilal Kindergarten were at SIEC Pony club to meet with ponies and learn about pony ridding, pony care and have a good extra curriculum activity with ponies. Students were given lessens at the stables about pony care and visited the places where ponies live and are fed. After riding sessions, they spend time in the pony activity room and painted the ponies they rode during riding sessions. more...

Burak Azak rode SIEC Dolce Inocenta on the first day at KGCC Winter League Finals and took the second place in 1.20 Eczacibasi Cup (62.69/0). Burak kept his first place secure until Emir Delikan (KGCC) got in on Déjà vu and stopped the time at 62.31. KGCC 2010 Winter Festival has its final leg this weekend at KGCC Facilities. Since February the riders have been gathering league points for the special prizes of the final leg which is between 24-25 April 2010. SIEC Pony festival welcomed around 85 pony riders from World Point Sport Center, Doga College and SIEC Pony Club The festival program offered the riders training courses in 40-60-90cm courses and pole training courses for the beginners. The festival started at 11.00 am. In 40cm; 33 pony riders competed in optimum time (72sec) and it was Bade Akar on SIEC Petit Beurre who won in PI category (72.60/0). SIEC Team rider signed a remarkable victory on his Birthday at the weekend when he recorded a win at 1.35 Galatasaray League 3rd Leg on the winner gelding of S.I.E.C. stables, Lanjaron. Burak Azak stop the time at 40.19 in the jump-off in which 9 riders participated. Due to his victory Burak moved up by 7 in the League rankings and in total he has 40 points. Oktay Sezek took the first place on his grey gelding S.I.E.C. Castlekelly Finn at KGCC Winter League 1.30 Royal Craft Cup when he crossed the finish line in 60.62 sec. With 61.50, it was Derin Demirsoy from SIEC, in the second place on Beko Gold of Gram. The traditional show of Italy; Toscana Tour, which takes 4 weeks in Arezzo show ground started last Wednesday (17th March) with young horse classes including 5-6 and 7 year old horses. The weekend was reserved for the riders of Bronze, Silver and Gold Tour. On the last day (21st March, Sunday) Cagri Basel had the 5th place in Gold Tour 1.40 FEI Ranking Class with the dark bay stallion from SIEC, called Caro Ass, coming out with a clear round in 61.86 sec in a number of 47 starters. more...
SIEC Team riders are jumping in two different locations of Europe. The team has traveled to Italy with 18 horses for the traditional Tour of Toscana which takes place in Arezzo for one month. Burak Azak recorded a decisive win in the Gold League of Kaya Baban Winter Series on Sunday night, when he produced double clear with S.I.E.C.’s Dusty Star. Competing in this second leg of Gold Tour (1.30m),Kaya Baban Winter League, Burak was one of the 8 through to the jump-off from a start list of 29 and he won the competition. In order to make contribution in the development of equestrian sports, to give experience to the riders in different environments, S international Equestrian Centre welcomed Gurman Equestrian Sport Club which was the first club returned after the declaration of SIEC for clinics all over Turkey. For three days, in jumping discipline 14 riders with 20 horses trained with the experienced instructor and S.I.E.C. Cedric Triolet.
