SIEC Team Competes in Two Different Cities of Europe
SIEC Team riders are jumping in two different locations of Europe. The team has traveled to Italy with 18 horses for the traditional Tour of Toscana which takes place in Arezzo for one month. On the other hand in Istanbul, SIEC team riders Burak Azak and Oktay Sezek participate in the Finals of Kaya Baban Winter League between 27-28th March.

Gerry Flynn riding SIEC Copy Cat, SIEC Zelinosa, Hippica Kermen and SIEC Lonnie, Richard Grom with SIEC Wanda Leva, SIEC Zappa, Caracter H and SIEC Anelco, Cagri Basel on SIEC Caro Ass, SIEC Gold Rush, SIEC and SIEC Quiet Ruffy compete for 4 weeks in the 3 star show in which the riders are given three different chances in each Grand Prix of Arezzo; qualifiers for Kentucky, for the world equestrian games in September.
The tour distributes 609.000 euro in a variety of classes including young horses, Bronze Silver and Gold Tours. The show offers two sand open arenas and a big grass arena in the show ground called Boccaccio. The tour just started with the young horses classes today (17 Marc) including 5-6-7 years horses. The program will follow with Silver, Bronze and Gold Tour at the weekend.
Istanbul is ready for the League Finals of Kaya Baban
As the seaso has changed to Spring, the winter serious of Kaya Baban is coming to its end this weekend with the finals of Bronz, Silver and Gold Leagues organized by İstanbul Equestrian Club in Maslak. After 2 legs the riders are gathering in Maslak Arena for the Final of the memorial winter series. SIEC Team riders Burak Azak and Oktay Sezek compete in the Gold League Final on 28th of March. Burak takes SIEC What A Surprise and SIEC Dolce Inocenta whereas, Oktay jumps SIEC Castlekelly Finn and Silvio.

Burak Azak recorded a decisive win in the Gold League of Kaya Baban Winter Series on Sunday night, when he produced double clear with S.I.E.C.’s Dusty Star. Competing in this second leg of Gold Tour (1.30m),Kaya Baban Winter League, Burak was one of the 8 through to the jump-off from a start list of 29 and he won the competition. At the same time he was in the 4th place on SIEC Lanjaron by putting the second fence of the jump-off unluckily down with his leg over the turn. more...
SIEC rider Derin Demirsoy put his bay gelding Rusty, across the line in 53.75seconds ahead of 110 starters of 1.30m class on Friday 5th and placed 4th in Neeroteeren CSI2* show. Among 113, It was Lowie Joppen, riding Valentino for Holland (52.26/0), who proved that he is fast enough to put himself in the first place. SIEC Team rider Richard Grom, who is riding young horses of the team, keeps on taking top results at young horses classes in Germany. Grom rode S.I.E.C Lonnie and S.I.E.C. Zelinosa on Thursday 25th in Heidelberg-Kirchheim Horse Show. In a field of 29 young horses- 1.15m-1.20m- Richard Grom won on Lonnie with 8.2 and he was in the second place on promising young mare Zelinosa with 7.8. more...

Cameron and Aristo had the fastest time among 56 starters and put their name at the first place with 49.73 sec. SIEC Team Riders dominates the Private Cups and Turkish Championship for C.D.B and Ladies that was held in Capital Country Club in Ankara. Gerry Flynn produced a spectacular win at Ankara and won the top three cups in Ankara. The second day at the 3* show in Athens started with the 1.35m class. Gerry Flynn on Feng Schui completed the first round clear and continued in the second place. He had also another clear round in 31,85 sec which put him in to the 5th place. In order to make contribution in the development of equestrian sports, to give experience to the riders in different environments, S international Equestrian Centre welcomed Gurman Equestrian Sport Club which was the first club returned after the declaration of SIEC for clinics all over Turkey.
