Cameron finished 10th in The President of the UAE Show Jumping Cup – Grand Prix.
SIEC Team rider Cameron Hanley attended Abu Dhabi CSIO5* competition with his successful Horses SIEC Caro Ass and Southwind VDL . He also made his first representation for Ireland with Southwind in the Nations Cup in 2010.

There were 48 challengers like Ellen Whitaker, Robert Smith, Billy Twomey, Gerco Schröder in 160 cm stake including the riders from Syria, Ireland, Germany, Lebonan, Italy and England. In the Grand Prix 11 off them could qualified for the jump off and one of them was Cameron with Southwind. He finished the jump off in 34,85 with 8 penalties where Belgian rider Jos Lansink with Valentina Van’T Heike beat other 10 with 36,43 seconds. The second best result came from Lars Neilberg from Germany with Lord Luis and third from Ben Maher with Robin Hood. In the Nations Cup competition where Cameron Hanley competed in one of the four of Ireland , the team finished in seventh place among 11 countries. In the first round Cameron with Southwind knocked one fence down with one time penalty and finished the rounds in total of 5 penalties for his team Ireland in 160 cm height. The other team riders of Cameron were Cian O’Connor who won some prestigious Grand Prix in 2009, Billy Twomey and Dermott Lennon. The first Nations Cup 2010 winner team was England with the riders Ellen Whitaker, Guy Williams, Robert Smith and Ben Maher. On the same day SIEC Team rider in 145 cm with SIEC Caro Ass placed 5 th and in 150 (First Qualifier for Grand Prix) ranked in seventh place with clear round and qualified for the Sunday 160 cm Grand Prix.

Riding the grey stallion SIEC Livello, Cameron placed in ninth in 140 cm high PRIJS C.DE BUYL HORSE INSURANCE competition against clock on December 29, 2009. Cameron Has gone to Belgium for CSI5*-W Mechelen show which started on 26th of December. On the second day Cameron rode 9 year old gelding S.I.E.C. The second day at the 3* show in Athens started with the 1.35m class. Gerry Flynn on Feng Schui completed the first round clear and continued in the second place. He had also another clear round in 31,85 sec which put him in to the 5th place. In order to make contribution in the development of equestrian sports, to give experience to the riders in different environments, S international Equestrian Centre welcomed Gurman Equestrian Sport Club which was the first club returned after the declaration of SIEC for clinics all over Turkey. For three days, in jumping discipline 14 riders with 20 horses trained with the experienced instructor and S.I.E.C. Cedric Triolet.
