European Championship for Juniors & Young Riders
Turkish Junior and Young Riders, Cagri Basel, Yusuf Huysal, Derin Demirsoy and Atahan Deliromanli will be jumping between 1st and 5th of July at Hoofddorp FEI European Junior & Young Riders Championship 2009.

In June, at “ Dutch Youngster Festival” the riders qualified for the Championship. Derin and Yusuf compete in Juniors category whereas Cagri Basel on L.B. Prevail is jumping at Young Riders representing Turkey for the second time in the European Championship for Juniors and Young Riders.
Riders from 26 different countries will be challenging by Rob Jansen; The Course Designer from Netherlands.
At Nörten-Hardenberg CSI3*, SIEC Team rider Sevil Sabanci participated with S.I.E.C. Aristo and S.I.E.C. Brigadör in the Large Tour Final (1.40m). Sevil Sabanci riding S.I.E.C. Arsito finished the second phase in 38,04 sec and placed 4th in a field of 16 riders. On S.I.E.C. Brigadör, Sabanci finished the second phase with 1 time fault in 46,82 sec and took the 7th place.
German rider Alexandra Marowsky on Petty was the winner of the final finishing in 35,56 sec with a clear round.

SIEC Team rider Sevil Sabanci is participating in Nörten-Hardenberg CSI3* show in Germany with S.I.E.C. Brigadör, S.I.E.C. Aristo and S.I.E.C. Casall. On the opening day in 1.25m which is a speed class Sevil Sabanci finished in 4th place with S.I.E.C. Aristo clear round in 64,83sec and on S.I.E.C. Casall placed 5th in 65,20 sec. Preferro finished the Small Tour Final in Romania (CSI2*-W, 4-7 June 2009) with 2 time penalties and placed 5th where Ivelin Valev (BUL) on Vasco 4 places 1st as he had the only clear round among 21 participants. In order to make contribution in the development of equestrian sports, to give experience to the riders in different environments, S international Equestrian Centre welcomed Gurman Equestrian Sport Club which was the first club returned after the declaration of SIEC for clinics all over Turkey. For three days, in jumping discipline 14 riders with 20 horses trained with the experienced instructor and S.I.E.C. Cedric Triolet.

This morning at CSI 3* Cortina, Sevil Sabanci, riding SIEC Aristo, finished 3rd in the 1.30m class, in a field of 30 competitors. This result qualifies Sevil for one of 10 places in the Final of the 1.30m category which will be contested on Sunday.
