VICTORY OF TURKISH RIDERS IN ROMANIA Between 5-7 June 2009 in Piatra Neamt CSI2*-W, Turkish National Team and individual riders rode in Small Tour, Balkan Tour (2nd Leg) and Nations Cup Team competition and they returned with a great success.

Turkish riders Armağan Ozgorkey, Avni Atabek, Efe Siyahi, Eyup Soyel, Filip Armam, Husnu Dinc, Izzet Aboresi, Ulkan Delikan, Sencer Horasan and Sevil Sabanci participated in the show during the weekend    In Balkan Tour (1.40m) Sencer Horasan riding Lavaro was among the 11 riders who qualified fort he jump-off. With 42,41 sec he is placed 2nd. Auro Cojocariu from Romania riding Duende was the winner of the Balkan Tour. Turkish rider Filip Armam on Lancelot was in the 4th place.  On the Second day; Filip Armam on Oscar finished the Small Tour (1.30-1.35m) in the 5th place. Sevil Sabancı on S.I.E.C. Preferro placed 8th and Efe Siyahi on Aragon placed 10th. Probably the most excited competition of the day was the Nations Cup of Romania in which 4 teams, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary competed. Team Turkey was the only team which was clear in both rounds over 1.45m and deserved the first place. Hungary took the second place with  a total of 8 points.3rd place went to Team Bulgarian with 17 penalties. The total prize of the Nations Cup was 12.000 Euro. In the two phases class which is 1.35-1.140m.; Sencer Can on Lavaro who is also the team member of the Nations Cup Champion Turkey; finished the second phase in 36,96 sec and won the class at Piatra Neamt. Another Turkish rider Filip Armam was 3rd with Oscar.  On the last day at the Small Tour (1.35m-1.40m)final SIEC Team rider Sevil Sabanci placed 5th on S.I.E.C. Preferro with only 2 time faults. Ivelin Valev from Bulgaria was the winner of the class. Efe Siyahi on Promis Me Gold, found his place at 8th.  Grand Prix of Romania was full of contest among the riders for thw 15.00 euro prize Money. 12 out of 30 riders, qualified for the jump -oof. Ivelin Valev (BUL) won the Grand Prix on Equitta with 35,23 sec. SIEC Team rider Gerry Flynn on S.I.E.C. Janico plced 3rd. Sencer Horasan (TUR) on Lavaro was 4th and Avni Atabek (TUR) Walthery was 5th and Ulkan Delikan was 6th in the Grand Prize.

This weekend the National Team will be competing in Albena
