2009 CHAMPIONS OF TURKEY
Champions of Children, Juniors, Young Riders and Seniors Category took their cups at the final day of Akbnak Private Banking Jumping Turkey Championship that took place at S.I.E.C. Facilities in May 2009.

In Juniors Final (1.30m) SIEC Team rider Burak Azak, last week’s 2nd place in İstanbul Championship for Juniors, this time won the Turkey Championship Final and the day placing first and the second with S.I.E.C. Dolce Inocenta and S.I.E.C. Dusty Star. Burak was the only rider finishing the championship without any penalties with both horsesamong 35 riders. Last week’s winner Dilara Yurttutan took the second place on Dogus Gipsy with 4 penalties and Serena Conway on Cayano, with 4 penalties, placed 3rd in the championship. SIEC Team riders and last yeard senior champion Cagri Basel on S.I.E.C. Lanjaron took the second place giving his place to Sencer Can on Cleveland this year at the final (1.45m). 24 riders made an outstanding effort for the title of 2009 Senior Champion in between 1.45m fences designed by German Course Designer Stefan Wirth. Sencer Can and Cleveland was the conbination finishing the championship clear on both days and deserving the cup for 2009 Champion. The prizes were given by The Founder and the Team rider of S.I.E.C. Mrs. Sevil Sabanci and the chairman of Akbank Mrs Suzan Sabanci Dincer. In young riders category, Serkan Seven (AASK) riding Power Boy won the final with 1 time fault finishing the 2 days with 5 penalties in total in 1.35m.
121 horses and 87 riders participated in the event during 3 days. In children category 22 kids jumped to be the winner of 2009 season. In the breathtaking jump-off Belis Memik (KGCC) on Lord Castro

SIEC Team rider Cameron Hanley finished Hipódromo de la Zarzuela Trophy 1.40m in the 3rd place on S.I.E.C. Royal Star among 52 starters. He finished the course in 62.51 seconds with a clear round, whereas Canadian rider Eric Lamaze on Lordhad 59.97 and got the first place. SIEC rider Derin Demirsoy on Surprise won the 1.40m Junior Grand Prix on Sunday 19th among 28 junior riders. In order to make contribution in the development of equestrian sports, to give experience to the riders in different environments, S international Equestrian Centre welcomed Gurman Equestrian Sport Club which was the first club returned after the declaration of SIEC for clinics all over Turkey. For three days, in jumping discipline 14 riders with 20 horses trained with the experienced instructor and S.I.E.C. Cedric Triolet.
